Generally, when performed by a skilled technician, body contouring is not painful. You may feel a slight discomfort in areas that have little fat to redistribute heat. However, body contouring treatments are quick and virtually pain-free. Most patients describe the sensation of the treatment similar to a hot stone massage.

Is body contouring safe?

Our targeted body sculpting system is safe and rarely has any long-term side effects. Our skilled technicians are highly trained in the use of these body contouring procedures. With zero downtime, our body contouring technicians will help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. So you can get right back to your daily routine! If you have any questions prior to or during your session, just ask! They’ll be happy to answer any concerns you may have.

How many body contouring treatments will I need?

While this can depend on your specific needs, generally a number of sessions can vary from 4-8 per treatment area and will be scheduled 7-14 days apart for optimal long-term results.

Is there anything I should do before coming in for my body contouring appointment?

We recommend keeping all treatment areas out of direct sunlight one week prior to your treatment. This will ensure that you receive the best effects from your treatments. Additionally, it’s recommended to increase water intake at least 2 days before each treatment as well as refrain from wearing any makeup, deodorant, powder, or perfumes on your treatment areas prior to coming in for body contouring. After treatment, you can go about your day as you normally would.
